Kleiderkasse Waffen SS visor hat for enlisted man, upgraded to officer. Worn condition and with some moth holes and rips. The black felt band with moth damage in skull area was professionally restored and now looks much more better - the holes are practically not visible. Period attached officer's aluminum cord Sturmband - chinstrap. The sweatband and sweat diamond partially damaged. There are still some moth holes under the crown where the upper part of the black felt band connected to the shape of the hat. By the wish of new owner all holes could be restored in same way as in the skull area. Skull is zinc made and marked SS RZM M499/41- Zimmermann. The Assmann SS eagle is also zink made. Very good and budget example of original completed SS visor hat to display.
