War Merit Cross with Swords 2nd Class 1939 without maker marking. The cross is produced from zinc in an unusual variant configuration.
This example differs by its nearly flat construction. The central sections of the arms lack the typical raised “pillowed” areas commonly encountered on most standard Kriegsverdienstkreuz variants.
The cross remains in excellent collectible condition with strong preserved detail on the swords, wreath and swastika.
