Luftwaffe Tuchrock Flak Funker Wachtmeister
Early pattern Luftwaffe Tuchrock for Flak anti-aircraft artillery personnel, intended for a Funker, in the rank of Wachtmeister. Dated 1939, confirmed by the depot acceptance marking L.B.A. (S39) Bekleidungsamt Stuttgart.
The tunic is made of early war wool cloth and features red piping on the collar, indicating Flak artillery branch. A Funker qualification badge is present on the sleeve.
The tunic is of a smaller size, approximately EU 46. Internal measurements:
– collar length 41 cm
– waist length 38 cm
– chest 86 cm
– total length 67 cm
– sleeve length 59 cm
The lining bears the manufacturer marking BulAG, consistent with the production period.
Condition is mint with light signs of use, fabric and structure remain fully intact.
The breast eagle was most likely removed post-war during denazification and later reattached.
