M35 double-decal helmet, SS-Totenkopfverbände, Demyansk
Double-decal M35 helmet, found on the positions of the SS-Totenkopfverbände in the Demyansk area around twenty years ago. Of archaeological origin and preserved in a largely uncleaned state. The surface has a loose layer of rust, beneath which original factory paint is still visible in places; electrolytic treatment would likely reveal more of the finish. Both decals are present and correspond to early SS application types.
The maker’s mark is likely ET, located on the inner right side of the shell, though unreadable due to corrosion. Shell size is 68, liner size 60–61. The liner was likely removed for cleaning and reinstalled. The leather remains soft and well-preserved
NB! This is a consignment item. Consignment item has an inspection period of 14 days following receipt of the item, and after that, any return for is void. No reason is acceptable for returns of consignment items as we have given most of the money to the consignor.
