SA der NSDAP Kepi, Gruppe Südmark, ex - Bayerische Ostmark. Tan wool Kepi cap with pink wool band around it. Brown colored ventilation grommets added later when the rosa/pink wool color band has been replaced. The twisted cord around the top of the hat designated the officers rank. 1939 style silver eagle and silver button on the front of the cap is correct issue for the SA Gruppe Südmark. The pink rhombus and NSDAP style Edelweiss badge are hand applied to left side of the Kepi. Fat brown leather chinstrap with brown painted steel buttons and buckles designed for wear and not as for the fashion as on the late hats. Brownish oil cloth inner crown lining with brown leather sweatband and early oilcloth RZM tag underneath of it. Slightly worn example in excellent condition with no damage.
