Regulation uniform buttons for the Stahlhelm organization, 21 mm in diameter, manufactured by Assmann. Mint condition, no wear or corrosion, with fully preserved original finish. The front features a raised image of a steel helmet, adding visual appeal and a strong period look. These buttons were used on the uniforms of members of Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten — one of the largest veterans’ organizations in the Weimar Republic, formed by World War I front-line soldiers. Parts of the organization were later incorporated into the SA and NSDAP structure in the 1930s.
