1941 Model Wehrmacht Tunic for a Private (Funker) with Shoulder Boards Featuring Lemon-Yellow Piping
This tunic belonged to a Wehrmacht private and bears the marks of time and front-line service. It is in a well-worn condition, with minor damage from use in Eagle, as well as traces of period restoration on the buttonhole stitching. Natural wear, scuffs, and battlefield grime add to its authentic historical appeal.
A ribbon for the Iron Cross II Class is placed in the second buttonhole, and loops for a decoration, likely an Allgemeines Sturmabzeichen, are present on the left pocket flap. At some point, the owner had the tunic tailored at the waist, but it was later restored to its standard fit, indicating long-term use.
All insignia are authentic and remain in place, including the eagle and collar tabs, underscoring the historical authenticity of the item. On the back, near the fastening area, there are two mysterious slits, the purpose of which remains unknown.
