Original Nahkampfspange in bronze, manufactured by Josef Feix & Söhne (JFS). This is a Type 2 production, known among collectors as the hybrid variant, classified in Thomas M. Durant's book The German Close Combat Clasp of WWII as type 6.6.
The clasp is in mint condition, never worn or used, with full original matte dark bronze finish. The surface is smooth and beautifully preserved. The hook, hinge, and backplate are fully original with no repairs. A superb mint example for an advanced collection.
