Honor Cross of the German Mother in Gold — the highest class of this civilian decoration awarded to mothers with eight or more children. The cross is finished in gilt with flawless enamel, preserved in mint condition.
The obverse bears the inscription “Der Deutschen Mutter” (“To the German Mother”). The reverse is stamped with the institution date — “16. Dezember 1938”, along with Adolf Hitler’s facsimile signature. One of the most iconic civilian awards of the Third Reich, exceptionally well preserved.
