Feldmütze M43 for the Waffen SS leader. The cap is made of tricot wool material. BeVo flatware eagle sewn on the left side. Remains of thread from originally attached cloth skull are still visible at front of the cap, but the skull itself is missed. Most likely it has been lost due of wear and the owner replaced it with zinc skull (marked M1/52 for Deschler & Sohn-München factory). The inner part of the skull is lined with red felt. Inside the cap, there is a stamp 57/1944. It's a textbook marking for the hats issued by the order of the W-SS. The lining is in salty condition. Cap in excellent, worn condition without damage from time and moth.
