German Order of the Eagle, Merit Cross 3rd Class mit Schwertern, manufactured by Godet, Berlin. The suspension ring is stamped 900 and 21. The enamel is flawless, clean and without any signs of wear.
The cross comes with its original ribbon fitted with a period pin. Included in the set is the bandspange ribbon bar, the only part showing light traces of use, typical for worn bars.
The red presentation case with the national eagle on the lid is in excellent condition, with a fully preserved velvet insert and white silk lining bearing the inscription Verdienstkreuz III. Stufe des Ordens vom Deutschen Adler.
The set is fully authentic and exceptionally well preserved, with no alterations.
