Iron Crosses for the "Narva" Battalion
On the Eastern Front, during intense battles, the armored grenadiers of the "Narva" battalion, composed of Estonian soldiers, distinguished themselves with exceptional bravery and heroism.
Despite the enemy's overwhelming numerical superiority, these soldiers held their positions firmly for several days of fierce combat and successfully repelled all enemy attacks.
For their outstanding heroism, the battalion's soldiers were awarded the Iron Cross, and the award ceremony is shown in the accompanying photograph.
