Soviet Navy Officer in 1941. It's written on the backside: "Dear, sweet family, in memory of the parting day on August 22, 1941. Look and don’t forget, remember more and more." Dated April 25th, 1943. Size about 11,5 x 8 cm.

Red Army Lieutenant with his son. Size 12 x 8,5 cm.

Hero of the Soviet Union guard captain Afanasyev Nikolay Fedorovich - Афанасьев Николай Федорович. He was a Navy bomber pilot killed in action over Baltic See during the raid against Kriegsmarine ships on August 27th, 1944.  This is a rare early war photo, can be dated 1941 or 1942.
