Waffen-SS command tunic, Dutch-made, unused
Command tunic for Waffen-SS infantry, manufactured in the Netherlands from typical local material, with characteristic Dutch lining and cut. Never used — no signs of collar tabs or sleeve eagle ever applied. Shoulder boards for command ranks (SS-Untersturmführer to Hauptsturmführer) were installed during the tailoring process in the workshop. The tunic was intended for one of the Dutch SS units — "De Ruiter", "General Seyffardt", or "Nederland". It likely remained unused due to the owner's death or other circumstances.
