Notably, the tunic shows no traces of a Wehrmacht breast eagle ever having been attached. At the same time, visible fading marks from shoulder boards and collar tabs remain present, possibly indicating the removal of insignia during the postwar period or service use.
The tunic shows traces of dirt and field wear consistent with wartime use, while the fabric remains free from holes and major damage. The French cuffs require a few stitches to secure them back to their original positions.
The tunic would make an excellent restoration base for a Waffen-SS Führer ( command personnel)rank configuration.
