An extremely rare variant of the 1942 pattern Waffen-SS shoulder boards produced for veterinary units. Made of black wool with carmine-red piping – a branch color very seldom encountered and almost absent from most collections.
These boards originate from a batch discovered a few years ago in the attic of a former tailor’s shop in Germany. Out of the entire group, only eight pairs were found with the carmine-red piping of the veterinary service, emphasizing the rarity of this type. Condition is mint – no signs of wear, with fully preserved vivid color.
