HJ Fahrtenmesser -camp knife, with blade motto ” Blut und Ehre", early variant, maker marked Gottlieb Hammesfahr. Solingen Foche. Ges. Gesch. Blade shows period use and some minor rust dots. The knife comes with it’s original black painted steel scabbard which has inscription made by the owner: "Nürnberg Reichsparteitag 16 Sept 1934 and 11 Sept 1935, Königswin" (most probably name of the owner), Olten 1935". The scabbard retains about 70% of its original black paint and has some minor rust patina due of usage. The brown leather hanger is intact and soft, closure is in perfect condition and functioning perfectly. The nickel/chrome plated steel construction hilt has some minor coating damage due of wear/usage and some minor rusty places. The obverse grip has an imbedded enameled HJ diamond. The HJ diamond features red enamel top and bottom rectangles and white enamel side rectangles with a black enamel swastika in the center. Good condition personalized knife
