The TPU collar tabs of the cadet indicate belonging to the Tallinn Infantry School which was relocated to Tyumen after 15 July 1941 (Tallinskoe Pehotnoye Uchilische). After July 15, after the defence of Tallinn, the surviving participants in the defense were redeployed and continued their studies in Tyumen.
